About us

PlayVista is a service operated by Vurtech Technologies Ltd, trading as PlayVista. Our registered office is in London, United Kingdom (WC2H 9JQ). You can contact us at support@playvista.ai.

The Service

PlayBase provides tools for uploading football match and training video, generating automated analysis and reports, and interacting with an in-product assistant. Features, limits, and availability may change over time. We may add, modify, or remove features with reasonable notice where practicable, or immediately where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned or emergency maintenance may temporarily affect availability.

Eligibility and accounts

The Service is intended for coaches, analysts, clubs, academies, and related football organisations, as well as individual users acting in a professional or semi-professional coaching context.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us promptly at support@playvista.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date.

User content and video uploads

You may upload match and training video, metadata, and other materials (“User Content”) to the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant PlayVista a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, process, analyse, and display your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must not upload User Content unless you are entitled to do so. This includes having any permissions needed for footage that shows other people, such as players, coaches, officials, or spectators.

Minors in footage

User Content may include minors. If you upload footage of minors, you are solely responsible for obtaining and documenting any consents, permissions, and safeguarding approvals required by applicable law, your club, league, or governing body. PlayVista does not verify that such consents have been obtained.

You must not upload User Content that:

• Infringes any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
• Contains malware, viruses, or code designed to disrupt the Service.
• You do not have the right to share, including confidential or proprietary material belonging to others without permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of applicable law or these Terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service except as permitted by law or explicit written permission from us.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its outputs except as part of your normal coaching or analysis activities for your own team or organisation.
• Interfere with or overload the Service, including by circumventing usage limits or credit requirements.
• Use the Service to develop a competing product or service.

AI and automated outputs

The Service uses automated processing, including artificial intelligence, to generate analysis, insights, summaries, and assistant responses. These outputs are provided for informational purposes only.

• AI analysis may contain errors or omissions and should be reviewed before you rely on it.
• Outputs are not medical advice and must not be used for injury assessment, return-to-play decisions, or other health-related judgments.
• Coaching, tactical, and performance decisions remain your responsibility.

PlayVista does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any automated output.

Intellectual property

PlayVista and its licensors own all rights in the Service itself, including software, design, branding, documentation, and underlying technology. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

You retain ownership of your User Content. Subject to your ownership of the underlying video, PlayVista owns the systems and methods used to generate analysis and reports. You may use reports and insights generated for your account for your own coaching and analysis purposes, but you may not misrepresent automated outputs as human-authored professional certifications or guarantees of performance.

If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

Fees, subscriptions and credits

Some features require a paid subscription or the purchase of credits. Prices, packages, and included features are shown at the point of purchase and may change for new purchases with notice.

• Subscriptions — Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel through your account settings or billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise at purchase.
• Credits — Pre-purchased credits are consumed when you use metered features. Unused credits expire twenty-four (24) months after the date of purchase unless we state a different expiry at the point of sale.
• Payment — Payments are processed by our trusted third-party payment provider. You authorise us and our payment provider to charge your chosen payment method for applicable fees, taxes, and renewals.
• Failed payments — If payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until payment is received.

Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, all fees are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds for partially used subscription periods, used credits, or unused credits after expiry. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support@playvista.ai within thirty (30) days of the charge.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel paid features as described above.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or remove User Content, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, pose a security or legal risk, or if we are required to do so by law. Where practicable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy a breach before termination, but we may act immediately for serious or repeated violations.

On termination, your right to access the Service ends. We may delete your account and User Content after a reasonable period, subject to our Privacy Policy and any legal retention requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will continue to apply.

Content complaints and takedown

If you believe User Content on the Service infringes your rights, includes you without permission, or otherwise violates these Terms, contact us at support@playvista.ai with:

• Your name and contact details.
• A description of the content and where it appears (including account or video identifiers if known).
• The reason for your complaint (for example, lack of consent, copyright, or privacy).
• A statement that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

We will review complaints in good faith and may remove content, restrict access, or take other appropriate action. We may contact the uploading account holder where relevant. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

Third-party services

The Service may integrate with or rely on trusted third-party providers (for example, for hosting, payments, analytics, or automated processing). Your use of those services may be subject to the third party's own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlayVista disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors, or that automated outputs will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the paragraph above, PlayVista will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Subject to the paragraphs above, PlayVista's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service in any twelve (12) month period is limited to the greater of: (a) the fees you paid to PlayVista in that period; or (b) one hundred pounds (£100), if you used only free features during that period.

Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless PlayVista, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your User Content; (b) your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or applicable law; or (c) any dispute between you and a third party relating to footage you uploaded, including claims by players, clubs, or other individuals visible in your User Content.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting an updated version on this page, displaying a notice in the Service, or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

General

• Entire agreement — These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any order or plan details shown at purchase, form the entire agreement between you and PlayVista regarding the Service.
• Severability — If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• No waiver — Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
• Assignment — You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
